I recently purchased an Acer Predator X34p monitor. My system specifications include an Intel i7 6700K processor and an NVIDIA GTX 1080 graphics card, running Windows 10 with the latest updates. The graphics drivers are also current. Previously, I had a 144Hz display with a resolution of 2560x1440. This new monitor is a 120Hz model (overclocked from 100Hz) featuring a 3440x1440 resolution. A brief black flash occurs momentarily before the image returns to normal, then repeats intermittently. The flashing predominantly happens every second or so. It’s isolated to fullscreen mode and doesn't manifest in windowed or borderless windowed displays. I've observed this issue specifically within Rainbow Six Siege, Heroes of the Storm, and World of Warcraft, although it hasn’t occurred in other games I tested. I’m utilizing the included DisplayPort cable. G-Sync is enabled while V-Sync is disabled. The monitor has been overclocked from its default 100Hz setting to 120Hz. This black flashing only occurs when a game is running in fullscreen and is limited to certain titles. I'm uncertain about the cause of this problem, and appreciate any assistance!

Have you adjusted your computer's sound settings from standard CD quality to a higher setting, such as professional studio quality? Restore these sound configurations.
