Occasionally, without a clear reason, the system freezes briefly before becoming completely black. This occurs during gaming, idle sessions, text editing, or web browsing. The problem has persisted for some time and hasn't been resolved by any updates or hardware changes. Stress tests showed stable temperatures—GPU around 70°C, CPU under 65°C—during intensive tasks like Furmark and AIDA64. Event logs reveal unexpected reboots preceded by specific errors. No temperature concerns were detected. I've tried different GPU drivers, replaced the power supply, and even experimented with virtual machines, but the issues consistently return after two error events in the event viewer. The situation is frustrating because it forces frequent restarts, impacting my workflow. I'm considering a full Windows reinstall to fix it, though that would be risky and time-consuming. Current specs include a Ryzen 5 2600, Sapphire RX 580, and other components listed. BIOS version is 7C02v3B.

It seems like you're investigating a graphics card issue. Have you checked if virtualization is enabled on your CPU? Running DDU in safe mode might help, and clearing old GPU drivers could be useful. Also, ensure you have the latest BIOS and chipset updates.

I previously used DDU to reinstall drivers, but the problem persisted. These are the latest stable BIOS and chipset driver updates. I’ll attempt to re-enable virtualization.

It occurred once more, this time in the event viewer—no errors were reported for virtualization, only a smooth shutdown was observed. It seems the issue might be with the graphics drivers while streaming video.

Did you discover a solution for your issue? It occurred immediately after I reinstalled Windows on my SSD. I also replaced my power supply unit, but now I experience frequent blue screens. I’m tolerable with it, though it bothers me to think something is constantly wrong with my computer.
