The disk format picks F as a letter choice automatically.
Whenever I try to format my hard drive through Disk Settings and pick a new letter like Q or S, the system keeps picking F instead. It also pops up that annoying dialog box automatically when I click anything. How can I stop this from happening?
That is normal if you already have 3 partitions in your PC (Drives: C, D, E). But, drive letters can easily be renamed after formatting them, using Windows' Disk Management. (However, the drive letters will change again as you add or remove drives from your PC).
