I'm planning to take a cautious approach. I filed a refund for the board on Newegg because of bent pins, then checked if I could obtain a replacement CPU from AMD, assuming they'd test it first. I'll also return the PSU just in case and choose one with proper PCIe cables. I'll let you know in a few weeks once things are resolved.

You might want to try a higher voltage on Cinebench. 1.4v is typical for CPU overclocking when proper cooling is in place. Have you verified the CPU temperatures using Speccy or something similar? It displays all system readings, including storage, memory, CPU, GPU.
