when you begin your steam session it reports a connection issue, though it functioned smoothly during installation. with your game of choice, no servers appear in the list—please check your settings or try restarting the game. thank you.

Yeah... I face the same issue occasionally. Just stop the process and attempt again. If that fails, you might want to restart your application.

Adjust the network cable! It might help: restart the PC and/or process, then reconnect (renew lease). Test on a different device (possibly a Steam server).

apparently its a problem of my pc. it won't connect to the steam servers. a friend tried to login on my pc and i didn't work so its not account related.

I'm facing the same issue with Windows 10 Tech Preview, and whenever I boot into Windows 8.1 Steam it works fine on this machine.
