You're experiencing connection issues with your Apple Watch Series 6 and TP-link deco X20 despite following the guidelines in the spec sheets. It might help to check if there are any firmware updates available for your watch or router, verify that both devices are using compatible WiFi standards, and ensure no other network interference is present. Also, try restarting both the Apple Watch and the router to see if that resolves the problem.

Does your network use Wi-Fi with a password, and are you certain you entered it accurately?

Yes, I can show you what the watch displays during connection attempts and explain its meaning.

How many gadgets are linked to your Wi-Fi hub? If it doesn’t receive an IP address, the DHCP group might not be large enough.

It doesn’t request the password since Apple Watches typically don’t, and it retrieves it from my connected phone on my network. I own around 12 devices, so a DHCP pool problem shouldn’t exist—I verified using the deco app.

It shouldn't be GøyalMesh. Activate logging on the router and check for access from the MAC address your Apple phone uses.

It doesn’t detect anything. The app isn’t showing any info and it doesn’t have the watch’s MAC address. My phone works well in the network, but the watch isn’t connecting. It should be Goyalmesh, reflecting my Indian background, not Norwegian or another language. The spelling with the strange ‘o’ isn’t clear on my iPhone. The connection works on other networks, but with this device it’s just a mesh issue from my Deco X20.

Dette er selv om det er en mesh-setup, har jeg en router som spiser netwerk? Det er et humorisk sammenheng. Jeg vil opphåbe norsk og skriver "o" for ø i netviseromstendig situasjon, der er ikke realt til en standard.

Funnymesh? Yeah, deco x20 works. Definitely one main unit plus two others in satellite mode, all linked to the main one—one uses Ethernet, another uses 5GHz Wi-Fi.
