Two videos illustrate the problem: the power button fails to turn off, causing the system to remain active with fans spinning and RGB lights illuminated. No display or beep sounds occur. Attempts include powering off for 30 seconds, reseating RAM and the GPU, checking cables, removing storage drives, shorting CL_RTC pins, replacing the CMOS battery, and cleaning dust from components. Despite these efforts, no solution is available as spare parts are unavailable. The system runs with a slightly dusty condition after months of inactivity.

The power supply seems to have failed, possibly damaged. I’d replace it with a better one and invest more upfront. A faulty PSU can damage other components, so spending extra now avoids bigger issues later. Your unit likely isn’t severely defective, but I wouldn’t rely on it. A reliable, working PSU is worth testing for compatibility if you can’t afford a premium model. Used options are fine if budget is tight.
