I've been using an I3 1115G4 for a long time, and it's clearly an upgrade!

It's not quite right. The i7-4770 runs on an outdated design by modern benchmarks. While it has four cores, they're significantly slower than those in the i3-1115G4.

The CPU performs worse than the i3 you previously had. Please open it quickly and check the PSU label to identify the model, ensuring no safety risks are nearby.

That’s the computer’s power source. Unless you’re suggesting they labeled it with a fake name like “500w psu,” it probably means they used some very cheap parts inside. That’s risky because it often indicates a low-quality build, which can be dangerous—especially if it’s a model prone to overheating and fire hazards. They’re clearly making money off that $200 machine, but you were definitely scammed.

I repeat that; I used the same setup I created in 2014 until last week (now upgraded to a 14700k version). The 4770k struggled with games running at low resolutions.

It wasn't me who was scammed, it was my mom who bought it for Christmas. D:

Try to ask your mom to send it back, because this isn’t a system likely to work out well. Most of the good reviews seem from bots or a few real users. Real people usually mention needing a return to get a better deal. That’s true—just make sure the power supply is on the list so you can replace it quickly and avoid all the negative feedback.
