Hi
I encountered the same issue when trying to open CPUID Hardware Monitor and received the message: "A device attached to the system is not functioning." After installing MSI Afterburner, the problem persisted. Additionally, my PC has been behaving oddly during gaming sessions, with fans increasing to maximum speed briefly before stopping unexpectedly. Anyone have any advice or solutions?
Thanks

Go to device manager, you should see which devices are malfunctioning, marked with an exclamation mark.
If you notice that your fans increase unexpectedly, check your device manager for listed devices and update accordingly so we can continue troubleshooting.

Are there any devices without exclamation marks attached to them? For reference, I encountered this problem only after attempting to reinsert my graphics card into the motherboard.

I'm still facing issues with my case and GPU fans. Temperatures are normal between 20-30 degrees Celsius, but the fans keep spinning randomly. Sometimes it stops when I close the game, but they continue afterward. I don't understand what's happening. Can someone assist me?
