Hey there, I see you're dealing with a computer from your uncle that's behaving oddly. It only beeps once when turned on, and it doesn't display any output or bios info. The safe boot attempt failed because the boot selection couldn't access a required device (error 0xc000000f). This error code suggests something is wrong with the boot process, possibly related to hardware issues or incorrect settings. Have you tried checking the BIOS settings or looking up troubleshooting guides for Gigabyte models? It might help to verify connections and ensure the motherboard is properly seated.

The boot drive is not working properly. A replacement drive will be necessary to install the operating system.

The program indicates a missing device preventing startup. A clear, step-by-step solution is available: while the guide references Windows 10, the same instructions work for Windows 11. https://www.lifewire.com/fix-error-code-...0f-4770636

How likely would it be that a virus corrupted the entire disc or something? I don't think I can even boot to BIOS, and turns out it has Windows 7. Even though it's an offline machine, I don't really trust WIndiws 7 due to its age. Btw this computer I was told it's being used on a factory, to monitor traffic of some AGVs (not too relevant, but the reason for using Windows 7 is because it was on 24/7 for about 5 years).

Operating on outdated systems in offline environments is typical in industrial settings. It’s perfectly acceptable. Being surprised by a relatively modern OS is normal—provided the management tools are compatible. The main challenge could be stepping into tech support responsibilities.
