My monitor runs at 60hz.
The games I play include Rainbow Six Siege, Elder Scrolls Online, Tom Clancy Ghost Recon Wildlands, Diablo, and Subnatica.
I previously achieved smooth 60fps across all of them, but after switching to console gaming, I experienced lag and low-resolution performance.
Rainbow Six Siege maintained steady high frames, while the rest dropped to low resolution.
If you're considering a new motherboard processor and RAM for your GTX 1060 with 6GB of Super Clocked memory, what recommendations would you have?

You'd benefit more from a GPU upgrade.
Currently using a 3570k with 16GB RAM and a 1070, I've recently faced CPU bottlenecks. A simple adjustment brought it up to 4.4GHz and resolved the issue (temporarily).

I have achieved 60fps in Rainbow Six Siege (R6) before, and I was able to run it smoothly without any problems on high to ultra settings. A few months later, I've returned and now play it on all low settings. GeForce Experience confirmed that my game can maintain 60fps at high to ultra levels.

Your PC should handle all the games except Wildlands at high frame rates with reasonable settings. My i5 4460 managed that at 970. Check your temperatures during gameplay. Install HWMonito, start a game, and if lag appears, verify if CPU or GPU is reaching maximum usage and becoming overheated.

I own a GTX 1060 with 6 GB of memory and struggle to maintain over 60 frames per second at ultra settings in recent titles. Since this card isn't top-tier, lowering the settings or upgrading your GPU would be necessary for consistent 60 FPS.

Ultra settings are pointless. If you're not seeing high FPS, lower the settings and play again, it should work.

Check your CPU temperatures – it could indicate thermal throttling. How regularly do you maintain your computer?

As soon as I saw your message, I figured out the issue.
SOFTWARE
- VIRUS/MALWARE / ADWARE
Just after a few months, your computer started acting slow and you couldn’t tell why.
The specs you shared look okay. Even if everything runs normally except for an app or game, it might still be adware consuming your bandwidth!
Perform a scan!

Approximately once a month, I'm beginning to consider increasing the frequency.
