I didn’t need another game client installed since I got it for free, which means I can’t complain much. It’s cool to see the installer downloading at gigabit speeds without any slowdowns. I’m feeling hopeful that the game servers are ready for the traffic, even though they’re not directly linked.
Absolutely, I've avoided Battle Net. I'm sure it won't be as bothersome as Steam.
Not very bothersome. The pre-open beta was set up and ran without any problems. I had to close the client a few times when it first opened just to get my "play" button working, but it was overall very smooth.
I attempted to run it via Splashtop, but the experience was disappointing. It looks like I’ll have to hold off until I’m back home.
their support team consistently delivers excellent service. I had to contact their chat support a few times, but they always went the extra mile. They collaborated with their higher-level team for about two weeks to address a network problem, which turned out to be an infrastructure issue with Comcast. They even escalated the case directly to Comcast engineering to get it resolved.
