I used a few days of the built-in Windows on my Dell Venue 11 Pro 7130 i5 with 4GB/128GB RAM. After installing Ubuntu, everything went smoothly. But sometimes I wanted to switch back to Windows, yet it wouldn’t install. Other OSes worked fine—Linux distros and Prime OS did. Still, I can’t get Windows to start. I’ve tried installing Windows XP, 7, 8, or 10 in both 32/64-bit versions without success. I flashed the BIOS, upgraded and downgraded it, but nothing changed. The SSD on other machines works, but here it fails to boot once installed. My repair shop suggested replacing the motherboard since it’s all soldered, which isn’t a good option. Any advice or solutions would be appreciated.
