The battery condition is quite poor; it worked well until recently, then stopped charging and wouldn’t turn on. After replacing the BIOS battery, nothing changed. The device came from a friend who reported it was damaged due to moisture getting into the motherboard. Are there any steps you can attempt to restore it?

It functioned once the technician confirmed water damage. If it won’t power on, are there any lights or fans moving at all, or is everything off?

Yes, it functioned initially; I didn't rely on it afterward. Suddenly, only one light activated.

What kind of illumination is this? It’s not just a brief light—it can flash three times quickly followed by one longer flash, which may indicate specific issues. Dell appreciates these diagnostic lights and sounds.

I noticed during my research that I don’t usually do that. It lights up for a moment and then turns back on after being off. The battery indicator shows it runs about 30 minutes when functioning properly.

I managed to reset the power button on older laptops and they started working without any cables. The Lenovo models I used before worked too. Consider inspecting the motherboard for signs of damage, such as corrosion or missing pins. Good luck!
