I'm having a problem with my Dell Inspiron 13 7000 2in1 Model: p83g. It won't turn on. When I press the power button, nothing happens. When I hold it down instead, the CPU fan spins for about 5 or 10 seconds and then stops. If I keep holding the button while plugged in, the fan keeps spinning in this cycle. Even if I plug in the power cord without holding the button, the same thing happens. I tried taking out the battery and holding the button down for 20 seconds before reconnecting it. It still won't work. Removing the battery again, just holding the button, or plugging in the cord without holding the button all result in the fan spinning and stopping. Even when I took out my RAM and SSD, nothing changed.

I tried it with no battery, only the power cord, and nothing happened except the fan spinning for a few seconds before stopping and going back to sleep.

Well, how long you need to wait on that battery power is up for debate depending on what kind of charger they have. I actually tried starting my old friend's 2013 MacBook Pro when it was broken for three years straight. I held the button down for a minute or two before plugging it in and it finally turned on. It must've had some magic touch or just got way too lucky to fail that time.
