I have a Dell Inspiron at my office that I just replaced the display on. I ordered it from Amazon, after booting up the laptop I got a DELL screen and then a warning that the time and date were not set, I went into the BIOS, checked and everything was fine, I pressed exit and was left with no video. The laptop now won't boot, the processor fan won't turn on, the same with or without battery and connected through the power adapter. What could have gone wrong with all this? I have checked the connections, they all seem to be fine.

What might have caused this situation?
During disassembly and reassembly, several factors could be involved—perhaps your laptop's motherboard is damaged, or your BIOS settings were cleared without checking all other configurations. The monitor might not match the correct model.
You might want to re-disassemble the device, take out the internal battery, RAM, and storage, hold the power button for 30 seconds while disconnected from any power source, and clean the gold contacts on the RAM sticks with an eraser. If possible, use a different stick if there were two. Try booting with the adapter connected first to see if it improves the issue.
Make sure you confirmed there are no problems with your GPU beforehand. Also, provide the laptop's SKU for identification of the discrete GPU or iGPU.

What you instruct me to do, I have already done.
Concerning the SKU, I'm sorry it's stuck on the label, on the cover of the DELL there isn't any, the model is an Inspiron 15 3511 Model P112F.
I looked on Amazon for a compatible display and the one I found confirmed that.
The GPU didn't have issues before; I could see the screen, it was just cracked and obviously it wouldn't work like that.
I took my time, didn't rush, but even after waiting 30 seconds to press START with everything disconnected, I reconnected the memory and tried to turn on the laptop—still nothing.
