Consider whether purchasing a replacement is better than repairing the existing fan. You've already adjusted the 24-pin cable and tested various 12V RGB ports without success. Occasionally it powers on, but lately it hasn't worked consistently. 20230525_162218.m4v

Get a replacement. It looks like the cable has a fault. Unfortunately, RGB isn't designed for long life.

This would be my final option if I can't locate a remedy here.

You might attempt to connect the new cable straight to the PCB. If that doesn't work, the repair isn't possible. I've experienced this before. PS. How does shaking the fan affect it?

Ah well, perhaps swapping out the fan's cable would help. I haven't tried shaking it before. I once transported the device across two kilometers on a tricycle, but it wouldn't start.

You're referring to swapping out the cable. It seems the inner wire inside is damaged. They're incredibly thin—just a fraction of a millimeter!
