You're experiencing compatibility issues because the notch alignment isn't matching for either installation method. DDR4 RAM should generally fit, but physical constraints can prevent it. Double-check the RAM's orientation and ensure the notch matches the slot precisely. If problems persist, consider consulting the manufacturer's guidelines or contacting support.

It seems they provided a DDR5 board rather than a DDR4 one, since the center slot indicates DDR5 compatibility. Inspect the motherboard packaging to confirm the exact model and request a different unit.

The DDR5 board features one connector at the front, while the DDR4 board has two connectors positioned on the left side of the slots.

It seems you mistakenly purchased the DDR5 model instead of the DDR4 one. Checking the label beneath the memory slots will reveal whether it supports DDR4; anything else indicates a DDR5 build.

This clarifies the issue with the BIOS. I verified the box indicates a DDR4 model, meaning my Amazon purchase should match that. It seems the correct component might be missing from the package...

That makes sense. Reach out to Amazon and mention the discrepancy in the description, requesting a return.

The product indicates it's DDR4, though a DDR5 model could resolve the BIOS flashing issue I encountered. I'll reach out to support for a replacement.
