I received it for free because I had the original version, but if you prefer purchasing and you have an AMD card, I’d hold off. On the other hand, it’s currently on sale at 80% off—I think you could buy it now and wait for a fix. I believe it will be resolved. Update *** A patch has been released and I can confirm it’s working well now. Previously I was seeing 75 to 116 fps during the early stages of the game.

It's the FPS. There a huge discussion going on the Steam page. I downloaded the game to test it myself to see if it was just older AMD cards, but it also affects RX 400 cards. I was getting about 27 - 55 fps. It's just confusing because I run the original game at 200+ fps and the new assets don't look like that much of an improvement over the original game.
