Occasionally if things get too intense, my board fails the orange light test. VGA. I managed to clear the CMOS and remove the battery, then left it alone, but it still behaves the same when I check back later. Someone mentioned they were updating their BIOS while it was still broken. My solution? Using my reliable GTX 580. Just drop in some dust and press start. This has happened four times now—I think it’s my mistake. Pushing the MEMS too much probably caused it. Perhaps try starting with a non-UFI GPU?
I returned the CPU and they replaced it; they discovered a problem. Now I'm hesitant about installing it on the motherboard. I only reduced the voltages to achieve better temperatures and prolong the CPU's life, since I didn't like the 1.5V reading I was seeing... but that didn't actually happen.
