We got a laptop for donation to an orphanage; I thought at one point I could run a diagnostic to check if the HDD was missing, so we chose to install an SSD. When the SSD was installed and we pressed the power button, it started up but then shut down right away. Do you know what might be causing this issue?
Would swapping the SSD for the original HDD restore your laptop's operation? Are you noticing any flashing codes on the capslock switch or hearing any sounds?
We don't reach that point. The device stops instantly upon pressing the power button. Then it begins to restart and then powers off again.
