The D-Link DSL-2750U isn't considered a good router.
I purchased the d-link dsl-2750u to upgrade my outdated ISP router. When I first bought it, performance fell short of expectations. I hoped for quicker and more reliable speeds, but instead I faced frequent slow downloads, unlike the old router which usually worked well. While the d-link router is generally stable most of the time, there were instances of instability. The overheating issue was also noticeable—it would get very hot and sometimes caused internet drops. Could anyone confirm if this model has known reliability problems or if the poor quality of the cables might be the cause? I’m curious whether others have experienced similar issues.
Seems like a worn-out, low-end device with outdated networking standards. It likely lacks modern features like gigabit connectivity and offers only modest speeds—around 24Mbps down and 1Mbps up via DSL. The WiFi spec is probably from ten years ago, and it probably doesn’t support current performance expectations.
