Hey, I've been facing problems with my Hyper X Pulsefire Haste for a few months now. The cursor freezes for 1-2 seconds and the click doesn't work either. I've tried restarting, adjusting the polling rate, checking the device manager, uninstalling and reinstalling the device, but the issue keeps happening. My system details are: CPU - 12th Gen Intel R Core 15-1200f, MB - MSI PRO H610M-G DDR4, GPU - 4060, BIOS version E7D461MS.1LO, running Windows 11 on a PF650 Deep Cool PSU. I've only had this PC for a year and haven't updated the BIOS yet, but when I tried, it reported a ROM failure. I'm not very familiar with troubleshooting PCs on my own.
Also test with different mice. Also, check behind the second PC (desktop or laptop) to determine if the problem persists there too. The reason you chose that PSU is besides its low cost?
I guess my parents got me this PC and it was a prebuilt from a rough place, so I’m assuming they used it because it was cheap. I tried using an office mouse on my PC and it works without any stuttering, so I’m wondering if the problem is with the motherboard or the mouse itself. I don’t want to buy another gaming mouse if this issue keeps happening.
If it were a MoBo problem, the second mice would face the same issue.

Actually, you don’t have to stick with the exact model you used before. You can switch to another brand.
For example, I’ve been using Corsair mice for about ten years now. Because of heavy PC use, they tend to wear out after one or two years. They don’t stop working completely, but each mouse starts to develop its own unique issue.
My current Corsair Nightsword RGB has been having trouble with the middle scroll wheel button after about a year of intense use. The scroll wheel still functions properly, though the middle click becomes damaged. I’ve already replaced two mice and am now using a third one. But since these models meet my needs, I’m not bothered by this particular fault (I’ve experienced worse problems before, like the Corsair Sabre RGB having left-click double and triple click issues even after just one press).

Keep in mind the PSU is really bad—completely faulty. It’s best to replace it as soon as possible before the PSU fails completely, which could cause your whole PC to shut down or malfunction.

If you’re planning a new PSU, go for Tier A models such as Seasonic Focus, Vertex, PRIME, Corsair RMx/RMi/HXi/AXi, or Super Flower Leadex Gold/Platinum/Titanium.
Tier A options are sufficient; Tier A+ is better.
A 550W unit works fine, and a 650W one is also acceptable.
