Hello, your question is important. After installing a new SSD and applying Windows, you should be able to boot from it without affecting the old HDD. Since your Windows drivers are corrupted and can't access certain features, unlocking the drive might help restore functionality. As long as you're not an admin, your current user should still have normal access to files. Just ensure the SSD is properly recognized and that no conflicting settings remain from the previous installation.

I’m not certain about accessing your HDD, but you can set up another operating system on your SSD without any impact on your HDD. For safety, disconnect your HDD during the installation of the new OS.

Was das ursprüngliche Laufwerk mit Windows verschlüsselt? Wenn nicht, sollte es dir nur wenig Probleme bereiten, die Dateien darauf zu erreichen. Falls ja, kannst du eine bootbare USB erstellen für einen Live-Betrieb von Linux und die Dateien verschieben. Das bestätige ich sicher.
