Ubisoft is run by a group of people who aren't very smart, honestly. Have you noticed the new releases like Watch_Dogs? The FPS setting in The Crew can be changed with a config file, but having a default 30 FPS lock seems completely unreasonable—this isn’t the main issue preventing you from purchasing it. I’d advise against buying this game for several reasons. First, if Ubisoft wants to release more incomplete titles soon after launch, they should stop selling these poor-quality games. Second, the games they release are often misrepresented before they even hit the market. Sure, they can downgrade PC versions, but that doesn’t mean customers should rely on them. People keep buying these games because they’re profitable, not because they care about quality or customer satisfaction. That’s why they’ll keep pushing out unfinished projects.

Hey, I really appreciate your feedback. I enjoy the game a lot and love all the customization options. If you don’t like Ubisoft, that’s your issue, not mine. My main concern is my GPU reaching 110°C during playthroughs, but I’m willing to risk it for this title. I’ll wait until Steam offers at least a 50% discount before purchasing, since I don’t want to spend 60€. Just let me know when it’s a good time to upgrade!

It's not about the game itself; it's about Ubisoft's business methods and their treatment of customers when they raise prices.

I don’t believe you can steal an online game unless you set up your own server with around fifty players (such as unofficial WoW servers). That’s what I plan to do. The best choice is definitely the second one—Steam makes it worth it.

It's not a personal view—it's a fact. You're free to do whatever you like; what I'm offering is just a suggestion if you're looking for improved experiences.

Which GPU are you using? You didn’t mention it when you started this conversation. We can’t assist if you don’t reach out to us.

If you went through my post I was wondering about the second beta release... I don’t mind my graphics card since it’s quite old and I’ll upgrade it later. It’s a Radeon HD 3870 with 512MB, from 2007 crossfire. Both of them are prone to issues—maybe they’ll break or get damaged. I’m planning to start using my PC when steam offers the game at about 5% of its original price!

Copying the game wouldn't be effective because it involves multiple players.
