Liquid or water coolers don’t really exert pressure on the CPU.
My computer was built by CyberPowerPC using a LEPA Lenyx LP801A case.
It runs an Intel i7 6700K processor.
I have an Nvidia GTX 970 with the "Rise of the Tomb Raider" game installed.
The system uses an 800-watt power supply that is 80 Plus certified and supports SLI or Crossfire.
I own an Adata XPG Z1 with 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 2800MHz memory.
A Corsair H60 liquid cooler is installed.
There’s a 256GB SanDisk X400 M.2 SSD and a 2TB HDD spinning at 7200 RPM.
I also have a Gigabyte ZA-z170x-Gaming 3 MoBo with professional wiring.
Additional items include a $50 Amex gift card, a 3-year labor warranty and a 1-year parts warranty.
The operating system is Windows 7 Ultimate x64 and Windows 10 Pro x64.
I received special foam packaging to protect components during shipping.
Total cost comes to $1516 plus $99 for shipping and handling, making it $1615.
In May 2008 I built my own desktop. It was enjoyable, but this time I wasn’t interested in the process.
Buying parts separately would have been more expensive, whereas having CyberPowerPC involved saved me $20 to $40.
The added warranty for labor and parts is a clear advantage.
If things went wrong, I could point the blame at CyberPowerPC for a faulty setup.
