The CPU voltage setting in BIOS cannot be changed to Manual mode.
Hello, here are the details of your system:
CPU: i7 2600k
GPU: GTX 1060 6gb VRAM
RAM: 28gb 1333Mhz
MOBO: Asus Maximus V
BIOS: AMI BIOS version 2.10.1208
The problem I face is that I cannot switch my CPU voltage to manual mode. Even though I've set the overclocking tuner to manual, it remains hidden and I can't activate it. I need this adjustment because the "optimized defaults" display a voltage of around 1.380V at 3.8Ghz, which is much higher than expected for a CPU with a base clock speed of 3.4Ghz and four cores. I'd like to reduce it.
My main use for this PC is 3D modeling; if I render on the CPU for even short periods or perform heavy tasks that strain it, it would overheat, shut down, or cause boot loops. This has occurred three times now.
Below are some screenshots and photos from my BIOS. Sorry about the awkward camera angles—I was facing the monitor when they were taken.

It turns out the 4 pin EATX connection on my motherboard was broken, I swapped it in, and now everything functions perfectly.
