The CPU voltage fluctuating despite being configured at 1.35V... Someone can assist.
I noticed a recurring voltage problem when turning on the PC. The voltage drops significantly below the required 1.35v, fluctuating between 0.200v and 1.1v without reaching the target level. The CPU speed remains steady at 3.9mhz, showing no changes during instability. Anyone have any suggestions on how to resolve this? I own an MSI B350 Tomahawk motherboard—could it be relevant? Also, the Ryzen Master software doesn’t display CPU voltage variations, while AIDA64 and CPUz do.
Using aida64 causes the system to crash, but when I attempt to start the PC it briefly powers on before shutting down. I’m unsure if the issue lies with the motherboard or the CPU since both were purchased recently. There’s no beeping sound, the power supply works, and the CMOS reset didn’t help.
Do you have a spare hard drive or SSD available? Consider installing Windows on it and checking if you can boot into Windows from that source. Windows might become unstable if you experience frequent crashes. Make sure you have the most recent BIOS installed first.
I have the most recent bios, but the PC fails to power on at all. I've tested with another m2 stick and still no success. Occasionally it starts, but I don't see any output from the display.
I did it first, but the same problem remains. Also, I attempted to remove the CPU from the motherboard socket, but it seems stuck. After releasing the lever, it still doesn't move. The chip stays at the top, so it’s not that simple. Could the CPU have been damaged?
Yeah, I'll take one later. I just left my house so I'll come back when I can. I need to find out what it is because today is the final day I could send it back to the micro center for a replacement. Maybe I'll get both fixed since I bought them together (mobo, CPU).
