ASUS offers a choice to disregard that alert. It seems to be located within the hardware monitoring section.

Yes, I adjusted it to disregard fan speed, but the issue continues.

Well, I experienced a pretty intense moment. Attempted to adjust several voltage-related parameters manually, suspecting they might be responsible for the voltage spikes. The PC failed to boot at all—no POST detected. The CMOS reset button on the motherboard didn’t work, leading me down a series of unsettling thoughts: 'Did I damage my CPU?', 'Did I harm my RAM?', or 'Did I ruin my motherboard?'. Luckily, I found another CMOS reset option inside the case, close to the USB headers. Pressing it brought the system back on, then shut down briefly before restarting again and eventually booting into BIOS.

Phew! I restored all BIOS settings and restarted the machine. It seems there are still some lingering issues—my PC appears to boot more slowly than usual, showing significant sluggishness for the first 5 to 10 seconds, with a noticeable lack of responsiveness. My operating system is installed on an SSD (a Samsung 850 EVO, 500 GB). Previously, it booted much faster, taking only about half the time and responding almost instantly (~1-2 seconds) during the initial login. I’m puzzled by this change. It’s worth mentioning that the first boot error mentioned RAID settings, even though I didn’t use any RAID configuration. Also, both my SSD and HDD drives are recognized separately and are operating normally, except for the SSD seeming to run slower than expected.

Well, enough adrenaline for one morning.

To figure out if the problem lies with the VRM, check for signs of failure. If confirmed, reaching out to the retailer for a replacement is a logical next step.
