Actually, my CPU temperature spikes significantly during gameplay, reaching 90°C to 100°C. This is quite risky. I checked the BIOS and noticed that Intel states a base clock of 100 MHz and a turbo boost of 3400 MHz. From what I understand, these values indicate the minimum clock speed under load and the auto-overclocked speed when conditions are favorable. Some sources suggest that a CPU can automatically overclock beyond the turbo setting if temperatures allow. So, I believe that any automatic overclocking should keep the temperature within safe limits. However, I’m unsure why I’m seeing these high readings. Could it be due to manual overclocking or poor airflow? Please advise. I really appreciate your help.
