I think it’s the setting I made it to 256 AMP but there’s still nothing.
I’ve included ThrottleStop in the task scheduler to start now until I discover a lasting solution.
Please advise if you have any suggestions.

255.75 is the maximum value allowed. The data storage unit for this information isn't large enough to accommodate 256. Storing 256 would be like writing zero into that unit, which could relate to a BIOS issue. It might be part of what the BIOS expects. Consider using 255 instead. The developer of the BIOS may have assumed 256 would work when it clearly shouldn't. ThrottleStop remains the most reliable long-term solution. Even if you manage to correctly set the IccMax limit in the BIOS, applying ThrottleStop is still recommended. Using Windows Defender Boost in the Options window can enhance performance if you're using that feature.

Thank you for the update. Everything functions properly without throttle stops now. When I chose Auto Core Current Limit in BIOS, it assumed a maximum of 256 and reset to 0, just as expected. However, I can't set the decimal value directly; inputting 255.75 isn't possible. Still, I'm satisfied with this change!

Thank you for confirming my concern. It seems another board isn't just affecting this crucial setting. Someone apparently misread the documentation and increased the maximum value from 255.75 to 256. That’s not a good approach when dealing with IccMax limits. It looks like some MSI control tools are doing the same mistake when adjusting power settings. This has led to significant throttling. You can still use ThrottleStop for full 255.75, but 255 should suffice now that IccMax is properly configured. You might want to reach out to Gigabyte and report this serious issue in their BIOS. Good luck, and please find someone who will take your feedback seriously.
