I've been trying to overclock my 4690k on an MSI Z97 Guard Pro and encountered an issue; the CPU ratio multiplier doesn't exceed 39 (the turbo boost speed, which is off). You can see it here: https://youtu.be/goC71al4Qk8. I also found a discussion about a similar problem in a thread, but resetting my BIOS didn't fix the issue. It seems there might be a mismatch—maybe the BIOS registers it as a K CPU while the system reads 4690k. If anyone has solved this or has suggestions, I'd really appreciate it! Thanks,

However, some motherboard makers such as Gigabyte and possibly MSI have developed various BIOS options to mask this issue. If the BIOS functions well, users remain unaware of its background adjustments to CPU settings. A faulty BIOS may prevent you from configuring your CPU correctly.

Ensure you are using the latest BIOS version. If this doesn't resolve the problem, consider trying ThrottleStop or Intel XTU for better CPU control.
