I've checked and confirmed both RAM sticks function in slots A1 or A2 alone or together, but not when placed in B1 or B2. The system won't boot, yet other components start normally. I powered off the PC and began troubleshooting, which revealed the memory issue. Windows 10 Ryzen 9 3900x with Gigabyte Aorus x570 EVGA FTW 3080 SuperFlower Leadex III 650w Gold Corsair h150i Elite Capellix. There are no problems with A1, A2 or A1 & A2. The main problem is the CPU fails to power on if anything is in B1 or B2. I'm exploring all options without spare parts, unsure which step to take next. Consider swapping the motherboard and reassembling, or replacing the CPU first. Not confident about ordering from Amazon and returning if it's not the root cause. I'm roughly an hour away from Microcenter. Also, should I upgrade now? I really enjoyed this build and wanted to see it through.
