The only changes since my last restart are:
1. I added some Windows Updates.
2. I started using Nicehash to mine with my GPU.
3. I installed MSI Afterburner and overclocked my GPU.
Now after restarting, the system shows a BIOS message saying it can't boot, possibly because of current settings. I have two choices: load optimized settings or enter BIOS. I've tried reducing OC, changing voltage but nothing worked. I'm seeking professional advice rather than guesses.
Until now, my i7-5930K runs smoothly at 4.5Ghz overclock.
Additional Notes: Recently, the machine would shut down unexpectedly, displaying a load screen before closing (for example "CyberPower PC" with BIOS option beneath it).

Interesting developments occurred today with my rig. It no longer accepts my 4.5ghz overclocking of the CPU as a valid option. It was functioning properly (for about 4-5 days ago) until now. Even when boosted just a bit higher than stock, it insists on starting with optimized (standard) settings. It won’t load into Windows unless the BIOS is configured to use standard values. Several factors are involved... I hadn’t restarted or shut down my system during this period because I was mining cryptocurrency with my GPU. I maintained the minimum processor state at 5% while mining, ensuring the CPU didn’t run at the overclocked 4.5ghz all night. I also overclocked my GPU during this time but didn’t increase its voltage. Later, a Windows update prompted a restart, asking whether to load optimized settings or enter BIOS. I attempted to enter BIOS first and experimented with different configurations—trying 4.4ghz down from 4.5ghz, then 4.3ghz, adjusting Vcore values up to 4.0ghz, 3.8ghz, 3.7ghz—but only the stock 3.6ghz with turbo boost loaded.

Do you think I might have subjected the system to excessive stress by keeping it running for 4-5 days? Even with the minimum processor state at 5%?

Lutfij :
1| List your full system's specs like so:
CPU:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
2| Are you on the latest BIOS revision for your motherboard?
3| If you're on Windows 10, might want to see if a
repair install
changes things for you.
CPU: Intel i7-5930k
Motherboard: Asus X99P-SLI
Ram: 24GB DDR4 Triple Channel 2133 Mhz
SSD/HDD: 128GB SSD / 1TB HDD
GPU: Asus Rog Strix GTX 1080 Ti
PSU: I can find out later (currently on laptop), but I don't think it's this since it ran on a 4.5Ghz OC fine for months.
Chassis: ?
OS: Windows 10
How can I check to see if I'm running the latest BIOS revision? Sorry for being lazy, it's just that I'm at work right now. Are you suggesting refreshing the PC? I was thinking about just doing a hard reset, but I guess giving the refresh a try isn't anymore problematic than the current situation. I don't have any system restore points, so system restore is not an option. However, in my mind I don't see how resetting the PC can solve the problem if the latest Windows Update is at fault. I also uninstalled that latest update to see if it let me OC but it still wasn't letting me.
