I'm looking for some guidance on my recent upgrade to a gaming PC. I've been frustrated with the constraints of consoles, but now I can enjoy playing games with mods and exclusives that were previously inaccessible. The system I set up runs smoothly, and I'm monitoring temperatures closely since they vary with each game. During gameplay, the CPU typically stays between 60-70°C, except when high graphics settings are active, which can push it up to around 80°C—usually only for a short time before it drops back down. The GPU remains stable, never exceeding 60-70°C.
My main concern is the unusual vibration noise from the fan when I increase the fan speed to 80%. It doesn't happen consistently, but it stops when I lower the CPU fan to 100% or below 80%. I've noticed that gently pressing on the back where the CPU fan is located eliminates the noise. Moving the PC slightly can also affect whether the sound occurs, possibly due to lifting the front panel.

The cooling fan that keeps the CPU cool is connected to the processor itself. It’s the CPU fan. Thanks for your reply. I removed the front panel of the case, inspected all the screws, and they no longer hold tightly.
I haven't encountered this problem recently, so don't be silly, but is the manufacturer's logo sticker positioned at the center of the cooling fan? I've seen cases where it was missing, which could lead to complications at high speeds. This is just a guess, purely curious.
Your CPU fan might be slightly misaligned or the bearings could be worn. Budget fans sometimes show unusual vibrations or sound. Swapping them is inexpensive and straightforward. You can buy quality fans for just a few dollars or pounds. Noctua is my preferred brand, though many alternatives exist.
no sticker is attached to my fan. I thought about buying one and putting it in myself, but I’m worried I can’t afford another £1400 for a PC if something goes wrong. It took me a long time to save up enough, and £1400 feels like a huge amount. I’m mainly afraid I’ll make a mistake.
