I purchased my own new computer and assembled it. It boots up normally until I open the BIOS. After a brief period, the system freezes for a few seconds to a couple of minutes, then the screen goes dark and won’t turn on at all. Pressing the power button doesn’t work. I’m unsure if this is related to the BIOS, CPU, or motherboard. How can I troubleshoot this issue?

I’ll attempt the BIOS update, thanks! Updated to F7a Update 2 – changed my motherboard. New one arrives tomorrow; it’s an X670E Master. It might be a bit too much, but the rest was hard to find. It seems like the cooling system might be struggling. Remove the plastic shield from the CPU cooler base. Use a thin layer of thermal paste—about a grain of rice in the center with dots near each edge works well. Gently twist the heatsink back and forth to ensure good contact. If you're still wearing the cover, others have done this too, so don’t feel self-conscious!
Yeah, that is also what i first tought but the bios never went above 30-40c° when the pc turned him self of. I have checked the thermalpast patern 2 times. But i will need to check for a platstic protaction film again. I did check but the onlything that I saw when i unboxed it for the first time was a hardcover protection. Maybe I did indeed oversee if there was any plastic left on it.
Thanks for your attention! The new motherboard really helped solve the issue. It took some time to order, but now my PC runs smoothly and quickly!
