I plan to visit a nearby computer shop tomorrow to investigate this problem. Since I don’t have a handheld cutting tool like a Dremel, I’m counting on their expertise. I’m hoping they can solve it more efficiently and update this thread with their findings. It’s possible they might even call me back to confirm the work was completed.
Updated: I resolved the issue! I retrieved the screw pin by applying pressure with a screwdriver and pushing the front out, which didn’t cause any harm. I also dropped my backplate and had to remove the motherboard, but everything else was fine. Just holding my Hyper 212 on Amazon now. Thanks everyone!
I removed the screws from the front using the tip of a screwdriver. It functioned flawlessly.
