The Corsair XD3 Pump often requires a moment to power up.
It seems to activate gradually, with occasional clicks when the system is restarted. Most often it occurs after leaving the PC on for a while. Once it begins working properly, everything functions well. I suspect an air bubble might be forming in the pump after sitting, but you don’t notice it until it starts moving.
The offer provided nothing useful. Could you clarify what assistance you need? How quickly does it begin? Some pumps require a brief delay after powering up—it’s not always immediate. How long have you been using this loop? Have you kept it running? Please give a specific time frame for startup, as just mentioning a few clicks isn’t helpful. If the timing is consistent, try measuring it with your phone. You might reach out to Corsair support for help.
they're checking the power source. water pumps aren't designed for fan headers, and motherboards aren't built for that kind of demand. perhaps some boards include PUMP connectors to handle extra power. it could simply be a design choice.
It requires over ten minutes to begin. It’s connected to a Corsair Commander hub. I’ve launched it now and it took about twenty minutes. I’ve been keeping my PC running nonstop lately due to this. The loop has been active for two months, and it began acting up around the time I started using it regularly.
