The controller board can support changing the model LCD screen.
Hi all,
I bought a LCD controller board some time back and have been using it for an old laptop screen (LTN140KT04). Recently, I found a larger and improved LCD screen to replace it as a monitor. It comes from an old Dell AIO (LTM230HL07 model). I’m wondering if it’s possible to modify the controller board I already have and simply purchase new cables and a backlight board for the new screen. I think this is the exact controller board you have (https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/153914136729). Any suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks!
It would be wise to purchase the controller board designed for that particular LCD panel, unless both components are verified as universal and compatible.
They're not sure if there was a way to achieve this without buying another product. They thought they already had the necessary item and believed there were some functions on it that could be adjusted to make it work. The controller boards also looked the same, which makes them feel confident about the possibility.
Can you make a couple of clear pics of both controller boards?
Does the original link for the first item and the description of this one for the second work?
