I acquired this system about two months ago and everything functioned well until roughly one month prior. At that time, I encountered connection problems with my ISP (Virgin Media). A technician was dispatched and resolved the issue, but since then, lag persisted during gaming, especially in EA FC 25. Another engineer from Virgin replaced my router, yet the problem remained unresolved.

They also monitored my network for three days, finding no faults. The lag experienced in EA FC 25 doesn’t appear immediately; after playing 3–4 matches I notice stutters and temporary loss of control over the character for at least 1–2 seconds. My ping remains consistently between 20–30, with no packet loss during gameplay.

When I switch to hotspot mode and connect via my PC, the lag disappears, though my ping slightly increases—this is normal when using Ethernet versus Wi-Fi.

I have attempted various fixes:
- Factory reset of router
- Disabling hub firewall
- Turning off Windows auto-tuning level

During these adjustments, I also experienced lag in Discord, with connection bars shifting from green to red and fluctuating briefly before returning to normal.

The situation is frustrating, as it’s becoming increasingly difficult to play games and switch between broadband and mobile connections without issues.
