I just completed assembling my new PC (the motherboard lacks Wi-Fi) and Ethernet isn’t working since I need the drivers. I saved the drivers on a USB drive but can’t transfer them to the new machine, even though I double-checked they match the correct motherboard model from Asus (Rog Strix B550-A gaming).

You can also link your mobile device to your computer and access the internet through a USB connection

I've used your board before, but it always worked with a phone connection. It doesn't make sense. Please download the installer from the USB and install it on your new PC.

You're encountering issues in Device Manager, possibly with visual indicators or needing manual driver installation. Let's clarify the possible errors and options.

I didn't notice anything, but I checked "Speed and Duplex" and set it to 100Mbps Half Duplex. It seems to be functioning now. You're aiming for 2.5Gbps, but there might be other factors affecting performance.

I believe the requirements are satisfied for a 2.5 Gb transfer. Use a Cat 5e cable and ensure the router or switch supports a 2.5 Gb LAN port.

Cable was Cat6, I switched to another Cat6 and it functioned, probably because the second one had a loose connection or something similar.
