I recently used the oculus client and found it generally reliable when functioning properly. It tends to assume the headset is connected or compatible, but if it crashes or disconnects, you can't simply restart the app and pick up where you left off in a game. Instead, after a crash, it restarts, disconnects, and then tries again—often requiring a full restart. When it does restart, audio issues arise: the system crashes, reboots multiple times, and after a few audio problems, sound stops working entirely. Currently, all audio is routed through the headset, which is causing disruptions.
