You're having trouble fitting the standoff because it doesn't align properly, causing it to get partially screwed in before giving up. You've already tried other standoffs from different sources, but the issue persists.

These are the stand-offs that came with the case. Are you certain the threads are intact? Have none been cross-threaded? Often, when you shift a stand-off, you might need a wrench or driver to secure it properly. Sometimes the unused thread slots are covered, making it hard to thread by hand initially.

In a fresh situation, if the barriers weren't already available, setting them up might require extra work on the initial attempt.

The initial attempt was very straightforward. I utilized standoffs from the same batch I received for the first item, but they failed completely. I also experimented with a standoff designed for another area, yet it didn’t work either.

I also used a standoff from another section that functioned elsewhere, and it didn’t cause any issues.

It doesn’t require a wrench or driver. The threads appear in the tray. The hole is threaded. You can always tap or chase the threads in the tray.

The hole might be misaligned. On the back side there are two small metal protrusions that aren't present in any other openings.
