So I just bought a new CPU, but my Microsoft account got locked down and says I have to wait thirty days before it unlocks. That sounds crazy to me. The agent told me to reinstall Windows and wipe everything so it can set up on fresh drives. I've done that twice already because of how frustrating this gets. Now when the computer starts, suddenly it shows four different operating systems instead of one, and the system won't start or do anything. It just keeps giving me an error code 0xc0000225, which is exactly what I'm getting right now.

To get a real OS put in, check out this guide on how to clean install Windows 10. If you want info for Windows 11, go here: Windows 11 Clean install tutorial (click here). Other than that, welcome to the Windows 10 Clean install tutorial. This guide helps you step by step do a clean install of Windows... forums. (yes, it's for WIn 10, but 95% same stuff) You need to delete all existing partitions during this process. For the license....where did you get the original license?

You need more than one drive but only some have a Windows setup? Then don't forget to take out every single drive except the one you plan to put Windows on.

I own Windows 11, and it came attached to my PC when I bought it.

What's new with the CPU? Do I need to see all the details and specifications? Can you tell me what model it is and make sure everything fits together perfectly?

I meant all the drives, including those on your hard drive. But hey... just wipe everything clean and restart like the guide said. Just connect one drive at a time to test it out. Let's see what comes up.

That's what's happening right now. The Windows installation is going into my M.2 slot. Should I remove every single partition on it and just keep the hard drive inside it? Or do I need to delete everything first before installing Windows there?
