The computer time is running behind.
Observed that over the past two months the mobile phone clock is lagging by two minutes. It matches the time from a previously set internet clock. The BIOS remains X470 Strix with default settings; I’m expecting an updated BIOS since newer versions often cause freezing issues. Possible causes include: Windows software issue, syncing the mobile clock with an external source (Control Panel → Date & Time → Internet Time), CMOS battery failure, or another hardware concern.
Click right-click on the time, choose Adjust date/time, and set it to auto-set.
The setting was off initially, but after turning it on, you can verify if the issue persists by checking for errors or performance changes. This confirms it wasn't due to hardware or software factors.
Since it wasn't active, it didn't connect to any network. It ran independently, outside the internet. That should have resolved the issue.
If the Mobo (CMOS) is faulty, the system will lose synchronization if the computer hasn't been powered on recently. In the control panel, look for "time" and select "change date and time." Next, go to internet time settings. Enter pool.ntp.org and click update now. This should resolve the issue.
