A few months back my computer would suddenly freeze during gameplay, even though it wasn't under heavy use and temperatures were normal. I attempted various solutions and managed to stop the issue temporarily, but now it's recurring again. System logs show a fatal hardware error from WHEA-Logger each time it freezes. Sometimes the machine restarts itself after freezing, other times I have to manually power it off. Occasionally, when the WHEA-Logger error appears, I also encounter a bugcheck warning stating the system rebooted due to a bugcheck error. The specific message is: "The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x00000101 (0x000000000000000a, 0x0000000000000000, 0xfffff80317102180, 0x0000000000000000)". This doesn't occur every time, so I'm uncertain if it's a genuine hardware fault or just a driver problem. I've used WinDbg and Driver Verifier to assist in diagnosing, but they don't reveal any faulty drivers. The system still reports SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED when it crashes.

Ensure you obtain the most recent driver updates straight from the manufacturer’s official support sites. Note that third-party applications often lack current information about available hardware.

I included my specs into the original post. The total time spent in-game varies from about one minute to more than two hours, and it hasn’t caused any crashes while not playing. After uninstalling the graphics drivers using DDU and installing the latest version, the issue still persists.

It's essentially brand new; I just started building this machine at the beginning of the year, and it's now almost six months in.

any AAA game and even a large portion of indie titles are definitely under heavy load.
what do you think is "normal"?
first i would usually;
check if you're using the latest BIOS for the board,
run a few rounds of MEMTEST,
perform a Windows SFC scan.

When assembling the PC was it using a fresh Windows setup? Have you attempted a clean boot to eliminate any third-party software? I believe there might be a memory-related problem, and I would be more inclined toward that if the system is clean.

The game I'm playing is Warframe, and my CPU is running at 60°C with 13% load while my GPU is at 65°C with 45% load. I ran an SFC scan last night and it reported files were fixed, but I'm not sure if that's resolved the issue yet.
I want to run Memtest but need a flash drive; I've used Windows memory diagnostics before and found no problems.
I did a clean install of Windows when I built it, so I'll try a clean boot next.

you haven't indicated whether the BIOS is current.
the MSI control software should provide a way to update via its interface,
which would eliminate the need for a flash drive.
