I have a brand new setup (built myself) that’s been running for six months. It suddenly stops while I play demanding games like Minecraft, Elden Ring at full settings, Warzone, and Fortnite. My specs include a 3080ti Ryzen 9, 1000W PSU, 16GB CL14 3200MHz RAM, 1TB SSD, and a Gigabyte B550 Aurus Pro motherboard. Others suggest it might be a power supply issue, but since I’m running high-draw games that use more power than Minecraft, I think the problem could be with the RAM. When it shuts down, everything stops except the RAM and power button lights. After restarting, it turns back on. Opening Firefox shows my tabs are intact—so maybe RAM is the issue. The error code from Minecraft was 0xc0000005, which suggests a storage write failure. This supports the idea that RAM might be failing. Could the unexpected shutdown be causing the error? Let me know if this helps!

1000 watts of power? Metal bricks? It brings to mind a PSU that actually housed them to give it a solid feel... honestly, that PSU was way too weak. What unit is this?

It could be Corsair RAM. Some users report crashes with Ryzen processors, and it seems many of them use Corsair RAM in those setups. It might not work with every Ryzen model.

You seem strong on RAM, especially with B-Die Trident kits that fit well with your setup and others'. They performed even when paired with another B-Die kit like Patriot Viper, which suggests you're solid in that area. If you haven't set XMP yet, do it now. The PSU could be the main issue—would you like to test with a different PSU or GPU?

I'm unable to perform tests on the PSU. My issue happens unexpectedly.
