I've been mining for years and connected a 6600xt to my main rig using a long PCI riser cable so I could send my 5700xt out and return it for service before the warranty ended. It functioned smoothly for about a month until I reinstalled the 5700xt, performed a DDU, removed the 6600xt, and tried opening a video on both the computer and my NAS. The issue only appeared when playing videos with VLC. After swapping out the 5700xt and putting the 6600xt back in, the problem persisted during DDU attempts. I checked the task manager, but there were no spikes in memory or CPU usage when it froze. The afterburner graph showed no spikes either. I've tried adjusting the clock speeds and overclocking, but nothing changed the lag. My 5900x watercooled custom loop is running at low and normal temperatures, with a 32GB G-Skill Trident Z 2733MHz, MSI X-570A Pro MB, Corsair 850W PSU, and Windows 10.
