The computer stops working during the download process.
Recently completed assembling a PC under Mobo: b550 Aorus Pro with a 3080 gigabyte GPU, Ryzen 7 5800X, 2x16GB Corsair LX360 RAM, CL18 drive, Samsung EVO 980 Plus M.2 and 2.5" SSD. My problem is that whenever I download files larger than 10GB, the computer freezes—usually just the mouse stops moving, but sometimes I can still hear YouTube videos. I've tested different scenarios: downloading MapleStory and other apps, playing games, etc., but only the TFT freezes when background downloads are active. It happens only on my M.2 SSD while others work fine. Downloading simultaneously on both SSDs freezes everything except the one I'm using. Temperatures stay around 51°C. Any suggestions? This is brand new hardware, no usage for over a month.
Test benchmark tools like cinebench, pcmark, furmark, etc., for a minimum of 30 minutes to identify any failing component. Verify your power supply is suitable for running the Ryzen 7 and 3080. If you're seeing issues with Windows booting, it may be due to unstable graphics drivers, insufficient power delivery, or overheating concerns. In extreme cases, faulty hardware could be the cause.
You might encounter a paging problem—verify that your paging file is enabled automatically in the PC advanced settings and confirm the SSD is correctly installed.
It assists in determining whether your CPU is functioning properly during downloads. Have you verified your RAM usage? Right now I’m navigating without light.
