All LGA 1700 boards are compatible with 14gen, just a minor update reflecting Intel's usual approach. This isn't about much because most users don't replace their systems yearly, and the six-core configuration should work well.

Have you tested using two RAM modules, lowering the total to 8GB? Are the freezes still occurring?

I made the change right now and have been using my PC for 15 minutes without any problems. Previously, it would freeze every 3-5 minutes. I don’t know what you did to fix it, but it might have saved it. I’ll continue using the PC for a few more hours before I’m sure it’s working properly.

RAM slots failing in older MoBos isn't uncommon. The problem might lie with you or the memory control chip on the board, which can cause instability when using four RAM sticks, leading to the error you're encountering.

No magic involved. The 4 module setup puts more strain on the CPU memory controller and might need extra DRAM settings in the BIOS for stability. The 2 module setup is simpler and requires less work.

After spending the whole day on the computer it finally seems to have finished. It isn't very fast because it's an old PC, so I might consider replacing the motherboard and maybe the CPU later, but for now, taking out the RAM from slots 3 and 4 helped stop it from freezing. Thanks everyone for your help and advice ^^
